Gimme the Beat

Continuing with our theme of ‘out with the old, in with the new’ – next on the list was the Sea of Memories dated (and blown out) flybridge/cockpit stereo and speakers.

Outdated Sony CD (remember those?) stereo

The old was replaced with the latest from Fusion and matches nicely with last year’s Garmin electronics upgrade and provides a host of new features.

New Fusion MS-RA800

Just installed is the latest from Fusion (a.ka. Garmin) and features a gorgeous glass touch display.

New JL Audio 7.7” Signature Series

All speakers were upgraded to 7.7” JL Audio marine speakers and a wireless remote in the cockpit was installed.

The system is also networked in with the Garmin chartplotter and can be controlled either from the chartplotter or the Fusion head unit.

The audio quality, especially utilizing Apple Airplay, is amazing! The ability to control the flybridge zone separately from the cockpit zone allows you and your guests maximum flexibility to enjoy the music anywhere aboard Sea of Memories.
